Harry Lowenthal Born in Santiago, Chile, Harry Lowenthal grew up in both North and South America. He started playing guitar when he was seven years old, playing Argentine folk music. Picking up wind instruments during elementary school in the U.S., he settled on Flute during high school in Chile.
In 1986 he participated in the 'Living Music Village' sponsored by Paul Winter. That experience - along with teaching music at Interlocken International Summer Camp - inspired him to begin a performing career. Since 1989 Harry has been teaching and entertaining at festivals, schools, libraries, and summer camps throughout the Northeast.
